My Cold And Flu Survival Kit

Here are the essentials that I keep with me for cold and flu relief, as well as soup, honey, and LOTS OF WATER!

If you've never used a Neti Pot before, let me just tell you, it's super easy and the RELIEF!  It just clears all of that crap out and you can breathe again, plus you won't have so much of that annoying sinus drip.  I use my Neti Pot at least 6 times a day when I start to feel sick.

I also drink this tea ALL day, with some honey and sometimes a piece of lemon!

For nighttime, to quiet an annoying cough, and get some rest, I use B&T Nighttime Cough and Bronchial Syrup, it's not as 'thick' as most and doesn't make me want to throw up lol!  It actually tastes ok!  And.. it helps to get all of that 'stuff' out of me, as gross as that sounds.

And last but not least, lots and lots of throat lozenges for when I can't be home to Neti Pot or have a hot cup of tea!  

Something else I'm going to try this year, is called Fire Cider, I'll let you know how it works!

There are a lot of other natural remedies out there, just be sure to check in with your Doctor, and of course, PREVENTION is the best medicine, so try to avoid other sick people (if you can..)
