If Your Dog Has Allergies, Here's Help!

posted by Wendy Steele @wendysteele925 -

These days, there are many ways to treat your dog's allergies, from the inside out!

Talk with your vet first, as the earlier you start treatment, the better.

Also, look into an appropriate diet for the breed you have.  Fresh food is always best, because just as it is for us humans, eating too much 'processed' food (kibble) might eventually cause a problem.  There are all kinds of fresh, healthy options out there, and you could even go the raw route if you're ready for that.  Here's a great place to start researching your dog's diet:  Dog Food Advisor

Probiotics are good to add to your dog's food (if the food doesn't already list them in the ingredients) to help control allergies, more on that HERE.
