A woman attacked police officers with bee hives in Longmeadow as they were serving an eviction. Police Officers were serving the eviction on Memery Lane when Rorie Susan Woods of Hadley showed up in a truck - bee hives in the bed and then worked to release them in protest. When she was told that some officers may be allergic her response was "good".
She eventually put on a bee suit to protect herself. She was arrested in the suit. Luckily no officers were seriously injured otherwise she would be facing a manslaughter charge in addition to 4 counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (the bees) and disorderly conduct.
No word how the woman is connected to the property, but the eviction process on this 1.2 million dollar home had been in the works for some time.
