She’s got a ton of followers on Instagram, and alot of fans at the schools, nursing homes and other places she’s visited . Plus, according to her mother, she even poops out tomato seeds that have producd a bumper crop of the cherry variety. She is a therapy mini pig and her name is Porkchop.
Her mom and trainer Jess Moffo is an animal control officer from Waterbury. Jess has worked with Porkchop over the last few years to become a bonafide therapy pig, and by all accounts she was made for the job. When she visits she will sit on laps, take all the petting and hugs she can get and even does a few tricks all with the goal of helping others.
Right now Momma Moffo is working to get her certified so she can visit hospitals but for now she has plenty of stops on her schedule. And let’s not forget that do to a diet filled with tomatoes, Porkchops poo makes for super seed and fertilizer all in one producing what Jess calls a fantastic variety of “poopmatoes”.
