Scientists have captured a picture of a massive black hole at the center of our galaxy. This one is so massive they've described it as big as Mercury's orbit around the Sun. Now normally that would be terrifying but this big guy isn't. It's being referred to as a "gentle giant" or one scientist called it "the cowardly lion of black holes" because it's not "eating" as much of space as black holes normally do. "It’s the equivalent to a person eating a single grain of rice over millions of years" according to an astronomer. And who knew they make noise! “It burbled and gurgled as we looked at it,” the University of Arizona’s Feryal Ozel said. The sound below is pitched up. The actual sound of a black hole is 50 octaves LOWER than the lowest key on a piano. See? TERRIFYING!!!!
