There were 17 nominees to be considered this year for the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame induction. And the always classy, amazingly talented Dolly Parton was one of them. When the nod came out, Dolly said she wanted her name taken off the ballot because “I don’t feel that I have earned that right”. Then the debate began about what's "rock" and who should be nominated blah blah blah. The HOF responded to Dolly's humility saying they appreciate her saying that but the ballots already went out so she's still up for the induction. And today, she got IN! CONGRATS DOLLY! She's got great company with Pat Benatar & Neil Geraldo, Lionel Richie, Duran Duran, Eminem and Carly Simon all getting inducted. DOLLY YOU DESERVE ALL THE AWARDS!
