It was 2011, Ryan Seacrest has frosted, spiked hair and contestants Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina were teenagers! Scotty was the winner that year and Lauren a runner up. Both have gone on to have successful careers in country music, with Lauren winning an ACM award and becoming a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Scotty's last 4 songs have gone to number 1 on the charts! Rumors swirled around them when they were on the show that they were a couple, but truth is they became very good friends and have remained that way. And this performance on the reunion show was just magic.
