"After Midnight" host and country singer Granger Smith and his wife Amber lost their 3 year old son River to a drowning accident at their home in 2019. The couple has been strong proponents of making sure your children know how swim from a VERY young age. He posted the video below on Instagram with his 8 month old son Maverick, saying in the post, " Thinking that adult supervision is enough is an absolutely DEADLY miscalculation. Hear me. I used to think that too." What you will see in the video is hard to watch, especially if you're a parent. Granger credits his wife Amber for being present at these ISR (Infant Swimming Resource) lessons, as he couldn't "because of my own vulnerabilities".
