Today marks Earth Day, a day we celebrate our planet and do things to help it and save it's natural resources. Obviously there are some easy ways to do that like recycling and not using so much water. You can certainly up your game by putting solar panels on your house or upgrading to energy efficient appliances, a bit more costly but pays off in the end. And then there's the extreme, starting with reusable toilet paper (you wash it off after, like a washcloth), cooking over a fire outside, find solid shampoo bars instead of the ones in plastic bottles, reusable silicone ear swabs that wash off, use a shea butter block instead of lotion (not sure why this is a thing), chewable toothpaste tablets and vegan lip balm that comes in a plastic-free paper tube. I must admit, that last batch of ideas is a bit much for me for sure! Maybe I'll just stick to turning the water off more, and the lights!
