The Teddy Bear toss! A classic and heartwarming event for sure. The premise is that fans of said sports team buy stuffed bears and throw them onto a court, ice rink or field when the team tells them to. In the case of a hockey game, when the home team scores a goal. The Hershey Bears, PA's AHL team (American Hockey League), were playing our very own Hartford Wolfpack on teddy bear toss night. Watch the video below to see it all play out. The Hershey Bears scored and fans started throwing bears onto the ice. And they didn't stop! Turns out over 52 thousand bears were collected for various charities, setting a new teddy bear total record!
