Quinnipiac University has been perfectly clear, get the shot to come back on campus. They gave students a deadline of August 1st to upload a copy of their vaccination card. About 600 students did NOT comply and did NOT apply for an exemption. The college is making it clear that those who aren't vaccinated and show u will be fined starting at $100 dollars a week for the first 2 weeks. After that, it will increase by $25 every 2 weeks for a max of $200 a week. Students who get the first shot by August 25th and the 2nd by September 14th can avoid the fines. If they do not comply by September 14th, they lose access to the campus networks and WiFi. If they want to apply for a medical exemption, the deadline was back in July but they will be considered now on a case-by-case basis.
