The State of Connecticut has made vaccine shots available to persons 16 and over as of today, April 1st. That group ALONE consists of over a million people. So in addition to the people already trying to get a vaccine, now another million people will be trying. Thankfully the state announced that about 100 more pharmacies will be taking part in administering the vaccine. And they include pharmacies in Big Y and Beacon pharmacies as well. You still can't just show up for a vaccine, you have to make an appointment either through VAMS or the state's website. Get the list of the new pharmacies taking part HERE.
