When Trisha Yearwood and Don Henley's song "Walk Away Joe" was a hit back in the 90's, she needed to find a leading man for the video. And the video itself was shot in Austin, Texas, but Trisha and Don's part was not. Turns out Matthew McConaughy was a college student at the University of Texas and looking for work. He auditioned and landed the lead role of "Joe" in the video. He shot his parts in Austin, Texas and never actually met Trisha or Don!
