It sounds like a new reality show, and who knows, it may end up being one eventually, but for now, Vaccine Hunters are a real thing. With the state of CT letting the 55 and over crowd register, actual appointments in the next week are all but non-existent. Some people are actually calling around to CVS or Walgreens to see if anyone has cancelled their appointments so they can get in. One woman went to both pharmacies to see if she could get the vaccine and got lucky at Walgreens. They had some extra doses at the end of the day and were happy to give it to her.
