“Hero” Four-Year-Old Honored For Rescuing Younger Brother In A Pool!

A California boy is showing you’re never too young to be a hero after he saved his little brother from drowning. Mason Ochoa is only four, but he managed to rescue his two-year-old brother when the younger boy fell into their backyard pool.

Mason watched as his little brother, Nicholas, slipped into the water and he rushed to help. He grabbed his arm and screamed for help while keeping Nicholas’ head above water until adults arrived to pull him from the pool. Now Mason has been named an honorary Placentia firefighter for his brave actions.

“He’s a fast learner and he knows how to swim,” explains Mason’s grandfather, Raul Velez. “That helps a lot. He’s my hero.”
