How to block spam calls and robo calls

Robo-calls, spam calls, whatever you want to call them, they aren't stopping or slowing down at all. If anything, companies are getting more clever by having your own name show up on caller ID when they call or a local number pops up and they are far from local! The FCC is done with all that, and frankly so am I! So while they are busy fining companies, here's what you can do to protect yourself. Don't answer when you don't recognize the number, and remember, just because the number looks local doesn't mean it is! DO NOT HIT A BUTTON if the call asks you to to STOP getting calls! That doesn't work. Obviously don't give out personal info at all, EVER, for any reason! And finally, get yourself and all your numbers on the Do Not Call List
