Authenticity, apparently that's what the creator of "1883", the "Yellowstone" prequel, was going for, to the point of pain and peeing outside! The movie stars Tim McGraw, wife Faith Hill, and actor Sam Elliott and we got the first look last night during the premiere of season 4 of Yellowstone! Faith said, "Although it looks amazing, it's terrible. I think I have a few ribs floating around in my body. This is real work." The show's creator, Taylor Sheridan, wanted things as real as possible. Instead of a Hollywood set, they filmed in the heat of a Texas summer. The actors spent long hours in period clothing and on horseback, and using the bathroom became a real thing too! "You learn how to pick a tree, squat down, and do your business. [But] that's why so many actors are drawn to Taylor's writing because he's portraying the story in a way that was lived." "1883" premieres December 19th on Paramount+.
