This week's Pet of the Week is Buddy!
Buddy is a one-year-old American Bully. He was brought to CHS at the end of August when his previous family was moving and wanted him to have a fresh start in a loving home. He weighs approximately 55 pounds and will thrive living in a single-family home.
This sweet boy would like to live with adults who have experience with large and exuberant dogs. Buddy is a high-energy dog who will thrive in a home where he can get plenty of daily exercise. His family must also be familiar with positive reinforcement training, so Buddy can be successful at home.
He has not had much experience sharing his life with cats or dogs but is willing to share his home with another high-energy dog or a dog-savvy cat pending a successful interaction.
If you're ready to play with Buddy, he is available for adoption in Waterford. See more at CThumane.org/adopt or come visit in person. CHS is an independent nonprofit organization located in Newington, Waterford, and Wilton. In addition to adoption services, CHS offers reduced-fee veterinary services for owned pets through its pet resource centers in Newington and Wilton. CHS is not affiliated with the government or other animal welfare organizations. CHS' work is made possible 100% through the generosity of donors.
