This week's Pet of the Week is Cooper!
Cooper is a two-year-old Labrador Retriever mix. His journey at CHS began in July when his previous family could no longer care for him and wanted him to have a bright new beginning in a loving home.
He will do well living in a single-family home or condo. Cooper weighs approximately 69 pounds of pure love and will need to live in a home where he has plenty of space.
Cooper will make an excellent companion for dog-savvy children over the age of twelve who are gentle and compassionate towards pets. Due to his size, he is a strong dog and will need to be walked by an adult.
He has not had much experience sharing his home with a furry companion. Cooper may be willing to share his home with another large, high-energy dog or a dog-savvy, energetic cat. Cooper will thrive in a home where he can get daily exercise, as he has lots of energy.
Cooper is a wonderful dog with plenty of potential. He will do well living with a family with large, high-energy dog experience.
