This week's Pet of the Week is Champ!
Sweet Champ is a ten-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix; he was brought to CHS in January when his previous family had fallen on difficult times and wanted him to have a beautiful new beginning.
He can live in any size home, including apartments. While he has not had much experience sharing his home with a furry friend, he may be willing to share his home with another dog pending a meet and greet, or with a dog-savvy cat.
Champ will make an excellent companion to children and adults with general dog experience. This pup will thrive in a home where he can get daily exercise. While he does have some special needs, he has plenty of love to give. An adoption counselor will be happy to discuss Champ's needs and personality when you come to visit him.
