If you follow me on the socials you know I love to work out. I like the structure, the mental release it can give me, and yes I like to do something good for my health.
Now what should a weekly workout schedule look like? It can get confusing for sure with so many experts suggesting things like "2 days of strength, 3 days of cardio, and heck by the weekend just start squatting elephants". With everyone's hectic schedule it can feel daunting and a huge commitment which will only set you up for failure if you are just starting to commit to a workout routine. So what should you do? You should find the workout routine that works for you and if that is only on the weekends ("weekend warriors") by this study that's just fine!
For adults 18-64 it's recommended that weekly we get 150 minutes of moderate exercise or 75 of intense. You can spread that out over a number of days or you can cram it into the two where you have the most time to yourself. Either way health benefits are the same!
