Firefighters Help Mom Deliver Baby In Front Of Fire Station

A California mom has a birth story she says she’ll be telling for years to come. Danielle Argueta was in labor and on the way to the hospital when she realized she wasn’t going to make it in time. So her partner stopped in front of the Merced Fire Department headquarters, which is where their baby made her appearance.

Danielle delivered her baby right there in the car, with help from firefighters and big brother watching from the backseat. “The only thing I remember was that they gave me the baby,” Danielle said. “My son's in the back seat and he's kind of confused. He knew the baby was going to come, but he didn't realize that the baby was going to be there.”

Luckily, everything went well and baby Daisy is healthy, weighing in at seven-pounds, three-ounces. Both mom and baby are doing well and the family has already returned to the fire station to thank the firefighters who helped deliver their daughter.
