This week, a veteran couple has been given a new home as a thank you for their service. NateTerzano, a retired Marine, and his wife, Jess, a former Army soldier, are now the proud owners of a house in South Scranton, Pennsylvania.
The house was a gift from PNC Bank and Military Warriors Support Foundation, who teamed up to renovate it. Nate’s military career ended after he was injured by an IED while serving in Afghanistan and that’s one of the reasons his family was chosen to receive the mortgage-free house.
Now the Terzanos are looking forward to putting down roots after moving around so much with mom and dad in the military. “I’m so blessed to have this,” Nate says. “My family is good now and everything’s going to be good.”
