Saucony has some new designers working for them for a good cause. The athletic shoe company has teamed up with Boston Children’s Hospital for a Shoes with Soul campaign. They’ve asked six young patients at the hospital to create their own designs for footwear that will be sold to raise money and awareness for the work being done at Boston Children’s Hospital.
Instead of just asking for donations, Saucony also wanted to give some of the young patients at the hospital a chance to share their stories and talents. Proceeds from the shoe sales will go to Boston Children’s Hospital Cardiac Fitness Program, which encourages kids to “find your possible” through personalized exercise programs.
“This is so amazing, I got to use my art and creativity for something new that I never thought I’d be able to design,” explains 12-year-old Luna, one of the designers chosen. “Thinking about kids everywhere around the world wearing my shoe is amazing.”
