Cleothe four-year-old Labrador was missing and her owners ended up finding her in an unexpected place - at home. Well, not their Lawson, Missouri, home where they live now, but their former home in Olathe, Kansas. Somehow the dog made her way back to the front porch of the house she had lived in two years before.
Luckily, when Colton Michael, who now lives in the Missouri house, found Cleo laying on the porch, he had her scanned for a microchip. She had one and he was able to track down her owners. No one is sure how Cleo made her way to the old house, it’s 57 miles from her current home and she would’ve had to cross a river or a bridge with heavy traffic to get there. But her owners are thankful she’s back with them now.
“It just feels really good to be reunited with her,”Drew, Cleo's owner, says. “Really, she's everything to us.”
