Connecticut State Police were called to help a Bald Eagle spotted on the side of Route 8 at exit 25.
The Eagle was hit by a car, and had a broken wing..
Waterbury Animal Control also arrived to assist, and the Eagle was finally caught and transported to Sharon Audubon for rehabilitation.
