Former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick voiced his concerns over Nike's new Air Max 1 Quick Strike Fourth of July sneaker because of the old style "Betsy Ross flag" on the back. Nike hired Kaepernick as the face, and now apparently voice, of their 30 anniversary campaign. Not only did Nike pull the sneaker, but the governor of Arizona pulled his states funding and tax incentives from a proposed plant that Nike was going to build there. Overreaction or justified?
