Workers in Greenwich are being told to wear safe footwear, suitable for the work activities they perform.
There are some exceptions, like lifeguards, swim instructors or staff at town-run camps, otherwise, no flip flops or slide sandals are allowed.
It's all an effort to prevent potential injuries, absences, or worker comp claims.
