Does everybody know what time it is?
It could be time for a reboot of Home Improvement, says its star and legendary comedian Tim Allen.
The man who played Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor in the long-running sitcom exclusively tells CMT’s Cody Alan he would “love to take a shot” at bringing Home Improvement back.
“I would say, yes, there is a chance of that,” he says. “It isn’t as though you’d reboot it. Everything about that show would just be later. I’ve never said no to that…. I think it’d be fun.”
The possibility of a Home Improvement revival comes on the heels of the reboots of many classic shows, including Will & Grace, Fuller House, Roseanne and others.
Tim’s co-star and Tool Time co-host Richard Karn told Hollywood Life in 2015 that “there’s always a chance” for a Home Improvement reboot.
“Would I be on board? Yeah I think so! I would love to see what the story lines could be. It could be very funny,” he said.
Home Improvement originally ran on ABC from September 1991 to May 1999.
