Ok. youth baseball team's controversial raffle

The Elk City Outlaws, a youth baseball team of 7 through 10 year olds, is raffling off an AR-15 as a prize to raise money for their team. People have taken to social media, saying things like,  "Why in the world would you have 6, 7, 8 & 9 year olds selling raffle tickets for an assault rifle?" and it's "...teaching them its Ok to raffle off semi-automatic machine guns that were made to kill men..." and "...these parents need their heads examined..."

The coach of the team said that people in Oklahoma are proud of their guns and it's no big deal. The team is focusing on training and not what's being said about their raffle. Read the full story HERE.

Experts also say the AR-15 by definition is NOT an assault rifle and that's not what the AR stands for. Read the definition HERE
