Sound on Sound Music Festival 2023 – this weekend September 30 - October 1

From seeing your favorite band perform live, to relaxing with a cold beer at the Sports Hall, or sipping a glass of wine in the Wine Grove, to riding the Ferris Wheel this year’s festival offers an elevated experience. Sound On Sound will feature one massive stage for optimal viewing, over 20 bands and no overlapping sets, Sound On Sound allows attendees to catch every act without having to pick and choose.

"Light into the Dungeon:" A Jack O' Lantern Experience kicks off this weekend through October 29 – it runs Friday, Saturday and Sundays.

At the Old New-Gate Prison & Copper Mine

Immerse yourself in the Halloween season, 75 feet underground and surrounded by Jack O' Lanterns.

Experience the Old New-Gate Prison & Copper Mine like never before! In the late 18th century, people incarcerated at New-Gate Prison were housed in the abandoned copper mine in total darkness. This October, celebrate the Fall season with us as we bring “Light into the Dungeon” , illuminated by over 300 Jack O’ Lanterns. Explore the 100-yard loop of the underground copper mine lit by a display of professionally carved Jack O' Lanterns.

Advanced Tickets Required. Tickets cost $20 for adults & $10 for youth (17 and under).

Arrive ANYTIME during your timeslot to be admitted into the copper mine. 60 tickets are sold per timeslot and 15 people will be allowed down every 15 minutes- you can take as long as you like once you

are down below. Guides will be stationed throughout the mine, but the experience underground is primarily self-guided and can last as long or short as you prefer. Tickets also include admission to the above-ground prison yard. The prison yard includes ruins, cells, and special exhibits, which are also available for self-exploration. Arrive before your time slot, or stay after to explore the prison yard.

Sunday its Pawtoberfest for the Wolcott Dog Pound It is time for the 10th Annual Pawtoberfest and the 4th annual Bike Run! Come, sit, stay, and celebrate 10 years! Admission is $20 for the Pawtoberfest event. There will be music, food, drinks, raffles, prizes, and more at Johnny B’s Roadside Saloon in Wolcott! See you at 1pm!
