Sheryl Crow Slams New Singing Competition The Four

Sheryl Crow is not a fan of Fox’s new singing competition.

The one-time country singer took to Twitter this week to call the network’s The Four a “bogus pretentious TV talent show” and call out one of its industry panelists.

“Seriously!! Who the heck is Charlie Walk?” Sheryl tweeted of the Republic Records president, whose known for working with artists like DNCE, Hailee Steinfeld and Enrique Iglesias. "An artist is not a brand, Charlie. That is what is wrong with the music industry.”

The “Soak Up the Sun” singer added nothing about neither fellow panelists Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, Meghan Trainor and DJ Khaled nor host Fergie.

The Four features performances from aspiring contenders, who challenge four pre-selected artists and knock them off their perches.

Look for it Thursday nights on Fox.

Sheryl’s new album Be Myself is available now.
