Boston professionals aim to hit $1M milestone raised for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
BOSTON (April 28, 2023) – Professionals from the Boston area will soon gather for the ninth annual Toast to St. Jude event, presented by Boghos Properties and benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®. The event is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. on Friday, April 28, at the The State Room in Boston, Massachusetts.
The Toast to St. Jude committee has set an ambitious goal to reach a major fundraising milestone of over $1 million raised cumulatively since 2013 for the kids and families of St. Jude. Thanks to funds generated from events like this one, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food, so they can focus on helping their child live.
"We are immensely proud to celebrate almost a decade of fundraising for such a worthy cause. Together, we are on track to raise over a million dollars to support the life-saving work of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital,” said Samantha Curtin, co-chair of Toast to St. Jude. “To mark this milestone, we are thrilled to host our 2023 event at the stunning venue, The State Room. It's a testament to the generosity of our supporters and the dedication of our committee that we can continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families battling childhood cancer. "
Toast to St. Jude will feature a lounge-style reception for mingling, as well as dancing, live entertainment, a silent auction and a premier raffle. Additional event sponsors include Longwood Group, Definitive Healthcare, Jessica’s Brick Oven, Marcus & Millichap | Griffith Pepdjonovic Group, Scott Farrell + Partners, Michael D'Angelo Landscape Architecture LLC, New England Construction, Reading Skate, The Architectural Team, Inc., The Krantz Family, Anthony & Brittany Nader, and Andrew & Meaghan Nader. Colton Bradford from WBTS-TV NBC-10 is back to host the event again this year.
