LeBron James is set to become a part owner of the Boston Red Sox. Fenway Sports Group, the franchise's parent company, announced the NBA legend now owns an undisclosed amount of company shares after previously holding a two-percent ownership stake in Liverpool Football Club. As part of the deal, the Los Angeles Lakers star will also have part ownership in other company properties, including Roush Fenway Racing and the New England Sports Network. James, along with his longtime friend and business partner Maverick Carter, become the first two Black partners in Fenway Sports Group's history.
