I remember applying for colleges and worried that I wouldn't get in because my SAT scores were only average. It's a lot of pressure for sure. Throw Covid into the mix and yikes! Thankfully, UCONN also feels that way and they won't be requiring the test score for admission for the next 3 years. “The SAT has not been top of mind when you’re trying to keep your family safe and your kids healthy,” UConn Spokesperson Stephanie Reitz explained. It’s hard to get a pre-SAT test time; it’s hard sometimes to get time to take the SAT,” Reitz said, “There may be opportunities to do it then all of a sudden it shuts down because there’s a COVID scare.”
The board will also be voting on a tuition cut as well looking into building an outdoor ice rink for students to have fun and still be socially distanced
