A woman in Virginia recently received an anniversary present that turned out to be the gift that keeps on giving.Charrondarous Goode-Burroughs got a scratch-off lottery ticket from her son and it was a winner!
The Richmond woman was happy to receive the small gift in honor of her wedding anniversary, but she was shocked when she scratched it off to find it won her a $1-million jackpot.Now that’s a good present!
Goode-Burroughs couldn’t believe her eyes or her luck. “It said $1 million, but I truly didn’t think it was $1 million,” she recalls. The lucky lady says she’s still deciding what to do with her new fortune.
