More people are moving to CT during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are a top state for people who moved over the past six months. United Van Lines has been keeping track of moves and CT is in the TOP 3 in the U.S. during the last 6 months. Family health and wellbeing concerns are listed as being the top motivators for moves to our state. Prior to the last 6 months CT was at the top of the list for states that people were moving out of. Now, however, we have one of the lowest COVID-19 positivity rates in the country at around 1.6 percent, far below the national average of 4.7 percent.
The top three inbound states were Vermont, North Dakota and Connecticut.
