Memorial Day weekend rules for State parks

The DEEP has released rules that you will need to follow for this week. All state parks will be open, but once they reach a capacity that will allow social distancing, they will stop letting people in. At shoreline beaches, your blanket has to be 15 feet away from the next person. No lifeguards will be on duty. Bathroom buildings will not be open but there will be port-a-potties available. You will need to have your mask or face covering with you for when you have to be in close proximity to another person. Swimming will only be allowed at shoreline parks, and water testing will be conducted throughout the weekend. There will be no swimming at inland water areas at other state parks. All camping areas will be closed until at least June 11th
