Who says you can’t go home as a retiree?
George Strait has announced that he will return home to Texas for a special concert in 2018.

The King of Country and Lone Star State native will help Austin’s Frank Erwin Center, home of the iHeartCountry Festival, celebrate its 40th anniversary next year with a live concert.
“It’s going to be great. So hope to see you there and Hook ’em Horns,” George says, signaling the University of Texas’ official hand sign.
George also helped his home state this week with his hurricane benefit show in San Antonio, raising relief funds as part of the Hand In Hand telethon.

No official date for George’s 2018 show in Austin has been announced. The arena promises more information is coming soon.
