We've ALL put a pair of socks in the wash, only to find afterwards, only one sock survived.
But where did the other go?? Now we know.
Thanks to Sarah Rose on Twitter, who found out from someone on boredpanda, that upon opening a compartment at the bottom of the washer.. a HUGE pile of socks, and some other interesting stuff, spilled out!
The theory is it's only for older washers, but I might be checking the bottom of mine later, just to be sure!!!
