Cee Lo Green is pleading not guilty to a charge of drugging a woman with an ecstasy pill.
The singer and NBC "Voice" coach entered the plea at an arraignment Monday afternoon in Los Angeles after he was charged with a single count of furnishing the drug to the woman at an L.A. restaurant last year.
Citing insufficient evidence, prosecutors declined to file an additional charge of sexual assault per the woman's claims that CeeLo drugged and raped her.
Cee Lo's attorney says the singer would post $30,000 bail and was willing to turn himself in for booking within 24 hours.
Green, whose real name is Thomas DeCarlo Callaway, is due back in court on November 20th. That's when a date will be set for a preliminary hearing.
Producers of NBC's "The Voice" told TMZ earlier that the singer's legal troubles would not affect his coaching job on the NBC singing competition.
